Terms & Conditions

NeriBooksTravel | Amneris Dominguez, Independent Travel Advisor
Effective as of September 17, 2025

By engaging NeriBooksTravel (operated by Amneris Dominguez) for travel planning services, you (“Client”) agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms clarify the scope of services, responsibilities, and policies to ensure transparency and peace of mind for all travelers.

1. Planning Fee & Service Agreement

A one-time, non-refundable planning fee is required to begin designing your trip. This fee reflects the time, research, and expertise involved in creating a custom travel experience and managing bookings on your behalf.

The planning fee amount is determined based on the length of travel, number of guests, and complexity of the itinerary. It will be quoted individually prior to the start of planning.

By submitting payment, the client acknowledges and agrees to the non-refundable nature of this fee and the terms outlined herein.

2. Third-Party Travel Suppliers

NeriBooksTravel collaborates with third-party suppliers (such as airlines, hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, and DMCs) to fulfill your travel arrangements. While I work only with trusted partners, I cannot be held responsible for:

  • Airline schedule changes, cancellations, or delays

  • Lost or delayed baggage

  • Property conditions or overbookings

  • Tour delays, no-shows, or changes

  • Natural disasters, strikes, closures, or force majeure events

All bookings are governed by the individual terms and conditions of the suppliers involved. It is the client’s responsibility to review these.

3. Changes, Cancellations & Refunds

Any change or cancellation to your itinerary must be communicated to NeriBooksTravel as early as possible. Note:

  • Supplier penalties may apply for changes or cancellations

  • Refunds are not guaranteed and are subject to the policies of each provider

  • NeriBooksTravel does not charge cancellation fees but cannot secure supplier refunds

Clients are strongly encouraged to purchase travel insurance for maximum protection.

4. Travel Documentation

Clients are responsible for securing and presenting valid travel documents including:

  • Passports (valid for at least 6 months past your return date)

  • Visas, health forms, or digital entry authorizations (if required)

  • Vaccine or testing records (depending on destination)

NeriBooksTravel is not liable for denied boarding or entry due to documentation errors.

5. Travel Insurance

All travelers are strongly advised to purchase travel insurance that covers:

  • Trip cancellation/interruption

  • Medical emergencies and evacuation

  • Lost or delayed baggage

  • COVID-related changes

Those who decline insurance assume full responsibility for any financial loss due to cancellations or emergencies.

6. Health & Special Needs

Clients must disclose any medical conditions, dietary restrictions, mobility limitations, or special needs at the time of booking. I will make reasonable efforts to communicate these to suppliers, but accommodations are not guaranteed.

Please note: Accessibility may be limited in some destinations—especially in historic areas with stairs, cobblestones, or no elevators. Clients are responsible for evaluating whether planned activities meet their physical ability.

7. Liability Limitation

NeriBooksTravel is not liable for:

  • Illness, injury, or death during travel

  • Loss or theft of personal belongings

  • Acts of nature, weather disruptions, pandemics, or unforeseen circumstances

  • Financial losses due to travel delays, supplier issues, or failure to purchase insurance

  • Decisions made by airlines, immigration, or customs authorities

Your participation in travel is at your own risk.

8. Client Responsibility

Clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate, up-to-date information for all travelers

  • Review and confirm all travel details in a timely manner

  • Understand and comply with entry requirements, supplier rules, and local laws

  • Make all payments on time and communicate promptly

9. Group Travel

For group bookings (8+ travelers), a lead traveler will act as the primary contact. This person is responsible for communicating updates, submitting documents, and ensuring that all travelers comply with payment deadlines.

Each traveler is individually responsible for understanding terms, making payments, and following policies. Group deposits may be non-refundable, and availability is not guaranteed until all payments are made.

10. Chargebacks

Clients agree not to initiate a chargeback for services rendered. If there is an issue, you must contact NeriBooksTravel to attempt resolution first.

Unauthorized chargebacks may result in full legal pursuit and reimbursement for all fees incurred by the advisor in resolving the claim.

11. Reviews & Testimonials

By working with NeriBooksTravel, clients grant permission for any written testimonials, feedback, or voluntarily shared photos to be used for marketing purposes, including:

  • The NeriBooksTravel website

  • Instagram and other social media platforms

  • My Fora Travel advisor profile

If you prefer not to be featured by name or photo, simply notify me in writing.

12. Affiliation Disclosure

NeriBooksTravel is an independent affiliate of Fora Travel, a fully accredited travel agency. While I operate under Fora’s umbrella and leverage their trusted network of suppliers, I manage my own client relationships, fees, and services independently.

13. Acceptance of Terms

By engaging the services of NeriBooksTravel and submitting the planning fee, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
